Essential Functions:
Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees. Maintains patient confidentiality.
Provide an environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy, and property.
Provides light housekeeping, laundry services, errands, assists with meal preparation, per plan of care.
Provide necessary skill to appropriately report changes to ensure continuity of care.
Practice accepted infection control principles.
Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the patient.
Provide skills necessary to perform assigned functions according to the Hospice policy.
Contribute to the management and efficient operation of the Hospice and demonstrate effective time management
skills.
Demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency by attending required in-services.
Promote the Hospice philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
